Bears Keep Sliding

Things are looking very bleak for the Bears after yesterdays 13-10 overtime loss to the Broncos. It puts them at 7-6 on the year and now out of the wild card spot after Detroit and Atlanta’s wins yesterday. Only one game back with 3 to go there is still hope for the playoffs but that would require the Bears to win in Green Bay and Minnesota. A tough task for any team especially for a team which is missing its starting quarterback and running back. Back up quarterback Caleb Hanie has proved to be inefficient and turnover prone in his three starts and backup running back Marion Barber had been steady until yesterday. Late in Sunday’s game when the Bears were looking to run out the clock with a 10-7 lead when Barber took a hand off out of bounds stopping the clock and giving the Broncos a chance to tie the game, which they did. Then again in overtime he lost a fumble to Denver just about handing them their 6th win in a row.
So after winning 5 in a row the Bears have lost their last 3 and head to Soldier Field for their last regular season home game to play the Seattle Seahawks. It is another game that the Bears definitely have a chance to win and is just about a must win game for them.
