This is a great photograph of Soldier Field in the 1920’s. I have the original photo (large). I scanned this in 2 parts and merged the halves together in Photoshop.
Mad Chicago
Welcome to Mad Chicago. What’s on your mind Chicago?
These photos were taken as I took a summer stroll with my kids in the Cook County Forest Preserve just outside the Montrose cemetery fence. I wonder how many other Chicago area cemetaries are currupt?
Our stroll started as we went under the abandon train bridge via the woods. The walls under the bridge were spray painted with violent/satanic markings.
On the other side of the bridge we were greeted by un-friendly, seemingly homeless people living in the woods near the lost cemetery. It looked as though they were worshiping to a strange hooded object . They were using smoke to chant at the weird statue looking thing. Weird faces appeared in the smoke. Some of the people were getting upset that I was photographing them. Some were trying to hide their faces.
Past the bridge we saw these headstones that looked as though they were just thrown all around the area. Some were covered with brush, and sometimes grown trees, an indication that they have been there quite a while.
When you look at the following photos we took you gotta wonder…
